Megan's Trust
Megan's Trust was set up in memory of our beloved cat Megan who was ran over on July 1st 2013. The aim of the Megan Trust is to help raise money for animal charities, and we started to do this on our August 2013 Torquay Weekender. We are pleased to be able to say that with the help of everyone that attented our 2013 rock'n'roll weekender at the Victoria Hotel, Devon, we were able to raise the amount of £180.00, which was donated to Darren from The Bobcats. Darren along with his wife Elaine run the Babworth Animal Rescue Kennels and we know what a great job they do. Darren has passed on his heartfelt thanks to each and everyone of you that helped.
We were able to give Darren a further donation of £60.00 for the Rescue Centre on November 11th 2013 at the Brean Sands Rock 'n' Roll weekender, not a lot I know but it helps, and we will continue to help when we can.
With the help of Jane's shop, The Shaw Trust and her customers we were able to collect a vast amount of dog and cat food for Darren's Animal Rescue Centre, which we gave to Darren when we went to Taffs Wells to see him play. The value of the items was approx £110.00.
On 29th October 2014 £ 75.00 donated to the rescue centre.
